A collection of antique map reproductions, reproduced using the original copper plates and then coloured using watercolours, by artists specialised in their use. These antique maps are reproduced in Italy using the original process of xylography where instead of wood, copper is used. The copper plates are engraved with great skill and precision and printing is accomplished with a manual press. Each art map is therefore an original which differs from the others in small but important ways and can be purchased directly from our website.
