Kalk Bay Gallery

This Cape Town art gallery's reputation for the most comprehensive selection of contemporary, original South African art has made it a well-respected gallery with loyal collectors and investors from South Africa and around the world.

Established in 1995, the Kalk Bay Gallery is housed in the now distinct Orange Building - 62 Main Road Kalk Bay, overlooking False Bay on the South Peninsula coast of Cape Town.

The Kalk Bay Gallery offers a unique selection of over 3,000 artworks from international and South African artists.

Art categories represented include South African landscape art, wildlife and township scenes, ceramic and bronze sculptures, as well as an in-depth collection of well-known and familiar local harbour and seascape scenes.

The gallery is open 7 days a week, offering personal assistance in English, Dutch, German and French. Each purchase is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and value and we will gladly arrange worldwide shipping on your behalf at this famous South African art gallery.

You can visit the Kalk Bay Gallery daily between 9:30am and 4:30pm.

Please note that due to the road construction works currently underway along the coastal road, a one-way traffic system has been implemented by council.

- Entering Kalk Bay from Cape Town / Wynberg side: there is easy and free-flowing one-way access along Main Road in the direction of Kalk Bay. As you enter Kalk Bay, you will see Kalk Bay Gallery on your right-hand side.

- Entering Kalk Bay from Cape Point / Fish Hoek side: there is two-way access via Anderson Road, off Boyes Drive, turning left onto Gatesville and right onto Rouxville Roads. Turning right at the end of Rouxville Road onto Main Road, you will immediately see Kalk Bay Gallery on your right-hand side.
