About the Artist:
Born 8th June 1976 in Chivhu, Mtombae attended various urban schools in Zimbabwe before going on to study Electrical Engineering at the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo for 3 yreas.

In 1999, after realising that this was not his true calling for life, he abandoned persuing the remainder of his studies to seek out and create a new career as an artist. Ever since, Mutombae has been focusing his life and attention around his paintbrush. The fruits of his labour and committment is paying off as interest for his work continues to grow.

Has exhibited at various galleries in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe and is presently based in Gauteng.
